Tonal variations are inherent to the block printing process and enhance the individuality, character and uniqueness of each creation.

Inspiration for Dreams of India: The Dreams of India collection is inspired by the timeless, ubiquitous, sari that holds within its bountiful folds the traditions, secrets and mysteries of the art of female adornment. Using hand block printing with gold paste overlay, we have tried to recreate the look of India's resplendent Benarasi silk saris with their myriad hues and skillfully woven shimmering gold zari motifs and borders.
The Jeweled Peacock, in peacock blue, is one of the seven jewel toned hues in the sari inspired Dreams of India collection. Named after the majestic national bird of India, it consists of lustrous gold orbs that lie delicately patterned across a turquoise blue ground.
