Foam Custom Tool Kits (48"x54") : Blue (Top) Yellow (Bottom)

Use foam custom tool kits to make shadow boards for the drawers of your toolbox. Kits come with two pieces of foam, one blue and one yellow. To use, trace the outlines of your tools on the blue primary sheet and cut out the shapes with an X-Acto knife or electric hot knife. Put the blue layer in your toolbox drawer on top of the yellow layer. This bright yellow layer will show through, highlighting missing tools. These kits can be cut to fit almost any drawer, regardless of brand, and they'll protect your tools and your toolbox from damage. These foam kits are made from cross-link, closed-cell foam, so they won't absorb water and other contaminants. This kit is 48"x54"; the top layer of foam is half an inch thick and the bottom layer is one-fourth of an inch thick. This larger sheet works well for tool organization projects involving multiple drawers. You can cut it into pieces to fit more than one drawer instead of purchasing several smaller foam kits.
