This comforter uses a simple cotton fabric with grade A long strand mulberry silk. It also uses a box stitch pattern to avoid the displacement during every day use.

What weight should you buy?

The answer is "it depends". It depends on where you live, how cold it gets, how warm you like to be when sleeping, what temperature you set your thermostat at, etc. One rule of thumb we like to suggest is: use a 1.5 pound (0.7 kg) fill silk comforter for 68 degrees F (20C), and then add 1.5 pounds for every 3 degrees below 68.
